The project is pleased to announce forthcoming concerts, new repertoire, and further plans for 2019 - please check back for updates!
If you know of a work that needs attention, feel free to make CONTACT
Chosen Hill, Churchdown, Gloucestershire.
A sacred, much beloved place.
With views of the Malverns and the Cotswolds, a source of inspiration for:
Gerald Finzi (In Terra Pax, Nocturne), who took Ralph Vaughan Williams up the hill in 1956;
Herbert Howells (Piano Quartet in Am - The Chosen Tune); and
Ivor Gurney, who used to walk up it nearly every evening.
Place of my school cross country runs, sledging trips, and family walks.
